Leaves are long and wide.

There is a plant called Dracena fragrans - commonly a Corn Plant The following website shows what it looks like: http://www.evergrowing.com/tips/cornplan...
Reply:Mook, it's a mother-in-law tongue or Sanseviera. Here are some web sites: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=mother+...

How many more times are you going to ask this same question?
Reply:A SNAKE PLANT ALSO NOWN AS THE MOTHER IN LAW TOUNGE
Reply:For what purpose do you desire plants?

If your purpose is to add green to the inside, you could have ferns from the ceiling and palms from pots on the floor.

If your purpose is to help you think, you almost have to consider spider plants. I recommend to those who must contemplate at home, in addition to at the office, that spider plants offer a high volume of oxygen when compared to other plants.

Should you desire more greenery than 'normal' you could employ a plant bar. From two or more ceiling hooks, run a metal bar below them. Each hook supports a portion of the bar's weight. Hang many plants, especially ferns, so your guests can remark about how much vegetation you have.

If your guest is a girl that is gullible, tell her you are interested in the environment. Gee, that could even be truthful!

Misters are available for use inside a home.

You may wish to consider a lighting bar, placing it superior to or in line with your plants. The bar should use lights with a CRI close to 100.

(This term, Color Rendition Index, claims that if you view a rose outside in the sunshine, then view it inside with a lightbulb boasting a CRI of 100, the two views will have identical hues.)
Reply:It may be a Snake plant.
Reply:white bird of paradise....

is a good one, it is not a fern or a palm but is easier to grow than either of them.

it needs plenty of light but you should expect that since it has huge leaves and grows relatively fast. It can get over 8' tall if given the right conditions.
