What is the best way to clean my artificial ferns that are covered w/ dust and grime from being outside?
Put em' in a hot shower..Really !
Reply:Put them in a brown bag with table salt and shake em up. that's all there is to it
Reply:Get a big paper bag and put the ferns in them. Pour a lot of salt in the bag. Shake shake shake. Remove ferns. That should do it.
Reply:Three Rivers beat me to it, but that's the way you clean all your artificial plants. Put them in a garbage bag with salt and shake 'em up. When the salt gets too dirty, change it.

It works like a charm, I swear!
Reply:Garden Ridge sells a artificial plant cleaning spray.
Reply:Stick them in the shower and rinse them well with warm water, this should get rid of any insects that are hiding in them..this is how I clean all of my artifical house plants
Reply:water hose
Reply:If they are plastic use soap and water. If silk use cornmeal.
Reply:Canned compressed air
