I need a korean side dish recipe for seasoned bracken fern stems...it's called "gosari" or "go sa lee"

OK here you go but something to keep in mind if this is a fresh bracken fern then you must prepare it properly or it is poisonous.

so in the case that the fern is fresh then take of all the leafy parts and the stems of the leaves and take the stems and cut them into 4 inch pieces.. then put it in boiling water for apx 7 min or until pretty soft.. after put in in cold water and then wash and squeeze out all excess water

this process will make it edible..

if it is a dried version that you buy at the store put it in cold water overnight and it will come back to its original state.. after squeeze out all the water that you can and set it aside

you will need

for apx 2 cups of fern

3 tblsp of soy sauce

3 or 2 cloves of garlic crushed

chopped green onions (optional)

and 4 tblsp of sesamea oil

salt and pepper

put the fern into a big bowl and put in all of the soy sauce the garlic green onions and mix it in throughly.. alot of korean people mix it with thier hands ( just a tradition) mix it for a while

and then put the sesame oil in a pan and heat it up put your mixture in the pan.. stir fry it on med- high heat for 6 min and lower the heat to med- low heat and stir occasionaly add a little bit of water at a time if it looks a little dry add some salt and pepper to taste or add more soy sauce and when the fern is soft it is done..

lol this is my moms recepie hope i helped a bit..
