In what ways is the gametophyte of angiosperm similar to that of ferns and how do they differ?

Both the gametophytes are HAPLOID.



The fern gametophytes are bisexual



Angiospermic gametophytes are unisexual ( Male and female gametophytes are separate .)



Fern gametophytes are nutritionally independent as they are photosynthetic and completely separate from the sporophytes .



Angiospermic gametophytes are permanently attached to its sporophytes and nutritionally dependent on it
