How do I get my kitten to stop chewing on my callalillies and ferns?

there are certain grass's you can plant in your home that your cat can be happy feeding on. the book is at the libray called everything you need to know about cats. cats need plants for digestion and to help hairballs. hopefully your cat will no longer be interested in your house plants good luck.

How do I get my kitten to stop chewing on my callalillies and ferns?
My cat did the same thing but I planted cat grass that I get from PetSmart. My cat not only eats it but rubs her checks across the grass SO CUTE ! Cats that are outside eat grass and plants to help them regurgitate their hair so be prepared for the cat to spit up some. Report It
Reply:Get rid of the callalillies.....they are poisonous to cats....seriously!
Reply:cut off the kitty's head, problem solved.............. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Reply:If they're inside, spray them with a mixture of lemon juice and water. Cats don't like the smell of that.

If they're outside, bring the cat inside.
Reply:Kill the kitty. Kill the kitty...
Reply:If they're indoors, put them on a high shelf.
Reply:remove them
Reply:I'm not sure, just please make sure that any plants you have are not poisonous to cats.
Reply:move ur plants to a higher location, top of shelf. then go to pet co or wall mart. look for a product called cat grass. its an all natural grass to help with cat/dog digestion. the reason she/he is doing it they small good its fun and it probally needs to barf. get some hair ball med too. its in a tube near the cat grass.ur kitty just has some stomic issues
Reply:Keep her inside. The ASPCA recommends cats should be kept indoors because thier are just too many dangers for a domestic animal to roam free. Kittens are more apt to have something happen because they are more curious. More kittens die each year because of getting into poison or being killed by predators.
Reply:See if there's a scent - like vinegar - that your kitten really can't stand. You can spray your plants with that, and it should keep them away.

However, I really think that you should simply remove all the poisonous plants around; kittens use plants as climbing frames, hiding places and, yes, chew toys - they grow out of it eventually, but its a part of being a kitten.
Reply:get it one of those masks like hannibal lector had in silence of the lambs
Reply:Firstly, Congrats on getting a kitten...I have two! One thing you should do is remove any posionous plants from your home as kittys will chew on everything. Another tip is to spray kitty with water, I have tried this and it works wonders as kittys hate water. Dont over do it though or they'll end up with a phobia of anything tha sprays at them! hope this helps.
Reply:Its really simple. Go to a pet supply store like Petco or Petsmart and buy a live catnip plant. Your kitty will be attracted to it instead of the others. Don't be alarmed if your kitty eats it. It will do no harm, also it may foam at the mouth, that is just the effect of it being "high" from it. After awhile you kitty will act silly and if you keep it up it will forget the outside plants. There is also what is called animal greens you can buy. They are good for the kitties digestion and help with hair balls (yuck).
