How do I do my eye makeup with colored mascara?

My mom bought me a Mac Boston Fern (Green) mascara. I have hazel eyes. How can I use this? I've only used dark brown mascaras in the past.

this sounds exactly like me.

i wear green mascara also, its darker.

i use plum color eyeshadow.

i put a darker purple over my lid then i use a lighter purple and blend it in on the top.

i always get compliments that my eyes pop really well and that they look verrrry green.

Reply:I have hazel eyes and every time i wear purple, people flip. play with that and see if it'll do. might be a little unusual at first, but if we all wore the same stuff we'd still be in baby blue like Farah Fawcett
Reply:i've only ever used black but i really dont need it.... i think colored is really trashy looking.
Reply:Keep using your dark brown mascara, but use the green over the top, only on the tips. Don't use it on the lower lashes either. Remember to be subtle with it too, don't overdo it.
