My fern is turning yellow, any suggestions?

Ferns like cool, moist enviroment, much like where they grow in the wild. they also like misting with spray bottle(plain water). Are u keeping urs in a warm room and not watering enough or in direct sunlight, none of which ferns like.

My fern is turning yellow, any suggestions?
yellow almost always mean too much water
Reply:You're either over watering the fern or under watering it, both can cause damage to the plant. Feed it Miracle Grow either with a stake or liquid that you pour into the soil. Now that it's gotten colder, don't water the plant every day. Water it every 2-3 days.
Reply:You could be watering too much.
Reply:Allow the chlorine to evaporate from tap water before watering , let water stand for 24 hours before watering. also move to better light.you can remove yellow leaves, once yellow they don't turn green again. and it might promote new growth.
Reply:My guess is that it is too wet. Plus it could be root bound, or even sensitive to too much sunlight. Boston ferns are very finicky, is yours a Boston fern? All ferns do not like to be touched or water sprayed on them, water at base only if feels dry.
