Staghorn Fern?

I just bought a Staghorn Fern. Does anyone have growing tips?

Do they grow fast? Should I ever fertilize them?

Staghorn Fern?
Rhus Sumach - Rhus typhina (The Stag's Horn Sumach) - any reasonable soil will do. It thrives in a sunny site. Prune in February - cut stems to 1 ft above ground level. Remove and plant up rooted suckers in autumn or layer the branches in spring for propagation. We have had them for several years they seem healthy enough without special fertilisers.
Reply:Platycerium bifurcatum is a staghorn fern, not Rhus typhina

and suggestions by barrie will kill your poor staghorn Report It
Reply:yes jcr is right, dont do this, your fern will die!! Report It
