Christmas fern(PLEASE ANSWER!)?

I have a little project in Science, and I need to know if a Christmas fern is an autotroph or a heterotroph before I can continue with my research. Thank you so much and I really love that you took the time to read this.

Christmas fern(PLEASE ANSWER!)?
autotrophs make their own food. Plants are autotrophs, as they make their own food through photosynthesis. (Photoautotrophs)

Heterotrophs have to eat autotrophs for their food, because they can't produce their own food out of inorganic materials. People and animals, fungi, and bacteria are heterotrophs, because they take in other autotrophs (or heterotrophs) for food.
