Is a lady fern a Gymnosperm or an angiosperm?
gymnosperm because angiosperm is a flowering plant that has fruit
Reply:Gymnosperm
Reply:It is a gymnosperm
Reply:Ferns are neither. Gymnosperms are seed plants that don't make flowers... they're coniferous plants like pines and spruces.

Ferns are an entirely different type of plant. They have a different kind of life cycle. They make spores that grow a smaller plant, called a gametophyte. The gametophyte produces gametes (sperm and eggs) that make the sporophyte, which is what you typically call a fern.
