How do I keep a staghorn fern happy and healthy? thanks!!?
All of the many species of staghorn ferns require or grow best in a high temperature, 60-70°F or higher. However, the common staghorn fern (Platycerium bifurcatum) will tolerate a temperature of 50°F. and is best adapted for use in the low humidity conditions of the average home.Staghorns grow best in shaded areas and will not endure the Florida sun. The medium upon which they are growing should be allowed to dry slightly between waterings.
Reply:i have one, and it loves to be ocasionally wattered by cold weak tea. (no milk or sugar). Report It
