Yes it is. The Boston Fern may appear dead in the winter, but it will re-grow in the spring.

Is it ok to leave my boston fern outside? What is the lowest temperature it can stand.?
I leave mine outside in the fall until the temps are easily down to 40 with no ill effects at all, and I do have a couple of huge specimens.
Reply:well the one i bought said 50, i sure know it cant take freezing at all, so id bring it in.
