If people are stupid enough to believe what they see in adverts, then they deserve to be hoodwinked.
Reply:I agree with you. Im finding all the bad mouthing "hype" surrounding Fern Britton a little pathetic to be honest and I cant believe that it took centre page on the front of the newspaper today, leaving a tiny little square to put in the news of a child being stabbed to death!



So what if she had a gastric band fitted! So what if she didn't lose the weight by eating Ryvita and exercising! Does she actually say on the Ryvita adverts that she lost this weight by eating Ryvita? Its only a blo@dy advert for goodness sake!



If a model / actress loses tons of weight then people say it is amazing, the fact that she could be snorting coke, starving herself or making herself throw up to lose the weight is never mentioned is it?



What Fern has said / done is no major fraud or deception, with all that is going on in the world at the moment, it pales into insignificance doesn't it? Get over it people!
Reply:well she said that she dieted to get down to that weight and didn't as far as anyone can tell anyone that she did it by having a gastric band fitted to suppress her appetite, cheating i would say, and her advertising contract with Ryvita is well and truly in jeopardy if not over.

As to the others who seriously believes they actually do their own shopping let alone at Morrisons of all places, come on get real
Reply:yeah who gives a chuff, her husband said she had done it by eating less and exercising and that is true she has been eating less he just neglected to mention that she can only eat less because she is physically restricted to what her stomach can take. i still think she looks fab and at the end of the day she has had to put some hard work in too, a gastric band is not the miracle by itself.
Reply:couldnt care less about the adverts, she was bullshitting for months about diet and fitness when the whole time she had a gastric band fitted, so she was lying plain and simple, then again anyone who puts worth in anything the likes of her (phoney) has to say deserves to be treated like the morons they clearly are.

Fern is no different to millions of celebs that have hidden things from us and WHY should we know.... they wouldnt be celebraties without hidden facts .... they dont tell us what position they favour most... and I really dont want to know any more about any such trash as dieting / liposuction / etcssssssssss

Reply:Fern has done what many fat people have to do. She had the money and felt she had to change her appearance before she was too wide for the screen. Why the hell should be obliged to tell anyone of her treatment.
