the fern is turning brownish and makes the trunk of the palm look terrible i was going to use roundup, but wasn't sure if i should do that i don't want to kill the tree
How can i safely kill wild fern that is growing in my palm without harming the palm can you use a weed killer?
if this fern is in your tree, then you need to cut the fern at the root and "paint" or spray it with round up or brush-b-gone, do not spray it on your tree you must remove the fern by hand from the tree,, once you severe the trunk of the fern, give it a week to die off and you can easily pull it out
