Aspahrgus fern is dying?

i have a several year old asparugus fern that is needles are turing yellow and dying off its a very large plant and i have in in partial sun to shade,i mist it everyday and water it twice a week, any ideas?

Reply:I found a decent comment site on they below. It says to watch for slugs, mites, and aphids and that leaf spots and rots may occur - perhaps it stays too wet or was over-mulched and now sits too tow. The insects are also possible, so check for aphids and mites at the base or the leaves. The misting might be too much with your present humidity and it could contribute to leaf molds in certain climates - even if it is essential in the driest times of year.
Reply:Overwatering would be my guess. Twice a week seems like too much for a plant that is in low light.
